Affiliates and Partners

The United States Ju-Jitsu Federation is more than just a centralized national organization. Instead, the USJJF is composed of many Regional Ju-Jitsu Organizations (RJJO), that serve as State and Regional Associations under the USJJF banner. Additionally, the USJJF has other affiliate and partner organizations that work with us to achieve our goal to promote Ju-Jitsu in the United States.

Partner and affiliate Organizations are specialized organizations that have established rank, membership and promotion criteria. Those organizations accepted as Partners and Affiliates receive recognition of their member rank and validation of their rank with the USJJF is automatic. The criteria and benefits of becoming a Partner or Affiliate Organization is shown below.

As the recognized USA National Governing Member of the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF), the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF), provides benefits to its members among which are education, the opportunity to voice their opinions, vote their convictions, sit on committees and boards, and other functions which further the development of Ju-Jitsu in the United States.

The USJJF works in cooperation with its Partner Martial Art Organizations (PMAO), its Regional Ju-Jitsu Organizations (RJJO), its Affiliated Martial Art Organizations (AMAO) and is prepared to work in a positive and constructive manner with the USOC recognized National Multi-Sports Organizations (USOCNMSO) such as the AAU, YMCA, Boys Clubs of America and others that conduct Ju-Jitsu programs substantially in compliance with JJIF standards.
